Gregory S. Roth, a U.S. fugitive sought by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office on 11 counts of possession of child pornography, was apprehended in Placencia, Belize, on March 21, 2025. Authorities believe Roth was attempting to evade capture under the alias “Christopher.”
The U.S. Embassy in Belize expressed gratitude to Belizeans who assisted by sharing Roth’s wanted poster, aiding in his identification and capture.
Roth is described as a white male, approximately 5’07” tall, weighing around 186 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. A recent photograph, dated March 21, 2025, was released to assist in his identification.
The coordinated efforts between U.S. and Belizean authorities highlight the importance of international collaboration in apprehending fugitives and ensuring justice.
