Tropic Air Plane Hijacked After Takeoff from Corozal Municipal Airport

Authorities in Belize are currently responding to a developing aviation emergency following the reported hijacking of a Tropic Air passenger aircraft. The plane, which departed from Corozal Municipal Airport earlier today, was carrying a number of U.S. nationals and is now being tracked as it circles above Belize City Municipal Airport.
